Many thanks to the Binghamton Neighborhood Project for its support of Blueprint Binghamton.  To help ensure that residents from all of Binghamton’s neighborhoods had a voice in the planning process, the Binghamton Neighborhood Project crafted a citywide survey and administered the survey online and door-to-door. 


A total of 454 people took the survey, and for 58%, it was their first involvement in the planning process.  On the whole, residents emphasized the need for improved job opportunities, downtown revitalization, better sidewalks and safer streets, more small and locally-owned businesses, and targeted code enforcement.  Neighborhood by neighborhood, though, responses varied.  Here’s a summary of what you said:
