The planning process kicked off in November 2012 with the first meeting of the Steering Committee, organized by the City to oversee the creation of the BLUEPRINT BINGHAMTON. Meanwhile, the planning team has been gathering information, exploring the city, and having lots of conversations with Binghamtonians from all walks of life to learn about their hopes and dreams, concerns and priorities for the future of their city and neighborhood.
